A renewed police appeal has been launched after an attempted murder in Greenock.
The incident happened around 12.10am on Saturday, 28 September on West Blackhall Street when officers were called to a report of a 21-year-old man with serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Police Scotland is continuing to appeal for anyone with information about the incident to come forward to help with their investigation.

Detective Inspector Nicky Beattie said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would reassure the local community that extensive efforts are ongoing to identify whoever is responsible.
“I would urge anyone who may have information which has not yet been passed to police to get in touch as soon as you can.
