A major motorway in the UK is facing huge delays due to a collision.
The southbound M1 in South Yorkshire is closed between Junction 48 (Hook Moor Interchange) and Junction 47 (Parlington Interchange) due to a collision.
Emergency services, including West Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, Yorkshire Ambulance, and National Highways, are on the scene.

From J48 (A1(M) J43) bear left to remain on the A1(M) Exit the A1(M) at J42 and at the roundabout take the third exit on to the A63 westbound Cross the A1(M) and at the next roundabout take the first exit to remain on the A63 At the next roundabout take the second exit on to the A63 northbound At the next roundabout take the first exit to remain on the A63 westbound At the next roundabout take the third exit on to the A656 northbound Continue north on the A656 northbound to J47 of the M1 At the junction roundabout take the second exit to join the M1 southbound
