University halls aren’t the only option for new students. There are also privately-run halls. Here’s what you should be aware of.

There are plenty of things to be organized before heading off to university however, the most crucial choice you’ll need to make is where you’ll live.

It could be that you are leaving your home in the very first instance and the place you live will have a huge impact on the way you experience your life when you start your university time. You’ll want to live somewhere you’re comfortable and secure as well as a place where you can work, meet new people and immerse yourself in the university experience.

The majority of universities will attempt to find residence halls for newly admitted students. But this isn’t the only alternative. If there’s no place open, or you decide to live in a different location, private halls can be a great alternative.

These halls have many of the advantages of university halls. There are with no surprise bills, for example or similar, in some cases better.

Location

Bathrooms are offered in halls of uni, however in private halls, they’re not an option. Be aware, however there’s an extra cost to pay.

Facilities

The decision between university halls or private halls could come from the facilities they the market. Most private halls have no break-in clauses should you decide to leave. In this case, you might find yourself locked in the hall for a longer duration.
