Perhaps you’re thinking of customizing your company’s clothing? Perhaps you already have some but are wondering if it is worth the reinvestment? We surveyed a bunch of customers to discover not only why they bought clothing with a brand name, but also what advantages it brought to them. We also included details collected from surveys taken from a consumer perspective.

1. Creates a Professional , Trustworthy Image:

As the saying goes “Image matters”. A professional-looking uniform can instantly establish a professional and trustworthy image that attracts and helps to retain customers. Our clients said that when they wore their brand-name clothing, customers were much more trusting of their clothing than those who wore basic clothing. This was particularly applicable to call-out men like Electricians, Plumbers builders, and plumbers, who went out to people’s homes.

Mind Game Time: Imagine this scenario. You’re looking for work to be done on your home so you reach out to two companies to offer quotes.

One employee from the company is seen in a tracksuit that’s been covered in work-related clutter. He walks through your house and hand you a line on a piece of paper.

Company Two: The employee turns into a stylish Polo shirt with an embroidered emblem on one breast, and pants with a logo. On the sleeve on their polo is the logo of an industry body recognized and their registration number. They provide you with the quote printed on letterhead and a business card.

Who do you feel more confident in? I know who I’m confiding the job to.

2. It’s a great first Impression:

A Harvard study discovered that it takes a person four seconds to form an impression of someone else. Clothing for employees can make sure that their first impressions are that of an experienced company. Branded clothing looks professional and helps customers feel comfortable knowing that they’re dealing with a professional company.

3. Offers Free Advertising:

More than 83% of our customers stated that the advertising benefits of corporate clothing was one of their top reasons for purchasing. It’s also a frequent theme that whilst out eating out or shopping, many have been required to present some sort of business card after an interested customer saw their logo on the back of the garment.

I’ve experienced this myself recently. We received all new staff uniforms at Print Chimp and the first day I was on lunch break I called into a well known Mobile Phone shop and happened to talk to a regional manager who noticed our logo. We ended up with an order in the afternoon, and we paid for our uniforms for x8 more.

4. Creates Team Spirit:

Our most loved acronym for team is “Together Everyone achieves more”. The clothes worn by employees can increase team spirit and togetherness of everyone being in it together. This could, in turn, boost productivity for employees.

5. Increases Service to Customers:

Uniforms aid customers in identifying employees of the company who can be approached for information. This makes for a more efficient service and satisfied customers.

6. Increases Brand Recognition

If employees wear personalised workwear that display the company’s logo and colours, people are seeing them wherever they go. This makes it easier for people to remember the company whenever they require assistance. Regardless if your business is just you or with 50plus employees, we all have an image if we run a business. Many small-scale firms don’t understand this, but I guarantee you that you must at a minimum, adhere to the basic that include keeping your branding colour uniform and coded. Your business attire, clothing, Cards and Social Medias websites, etc. should all be uniform to give the feeling of familiarity. Human beings are complex, and we don’t like unfamiliar odd objects.

7. Cost-saving for employees:

Over 50% of our customers have reported that their employees were delighted to receive their custom-designed uniforms. It not only saves the cost of purchasing wear themselves, but a lot of them expressed the gratitude of what felt like a gift to their bosses.

8. Provides Company Pride:

If you have a good company and you and your employees enjoy what they are doing then company clothing can help to build an extra sense of pride for the company. Employees will want to wear it to show their employer who they are and also let the public know what they do.

We have learned from our interactions with our clients on a daily basis that the majority, if not all eight above are the motives and benefits to purchase company-branded clothing. It doesn’t even have to be costly.

We hope this article was informative and has given you some ideas on the benefits of branded apparel for your business.
