There are a variety of fireworks and items that you can choose to use to create a backyard lighting show, including aerials, ground firework, fun fireworks, and box of fireworks. The type you choose depends on the person you wish to impress and the type of show you’d like to stage! Let’s take a look at the various types of fireworks that you can purchase in 2022!

Aerial Fireworks

These types of fireworks are big and colorful fireworks that raise the effects of one mortar tube to the sky, or are bonded with a variety of mortar tubes.

Finale Racks

Finale Racks are multi-shot aerial fireworks that have various mortar tubes within. In most cases, there are nine shots and each one differs in both appearance and colour. They are considered to be the most spectacular part of the show since they are the biggest and loudest fireworks that end the show with a blast. They’ll display a broad variety of effects and colours to leave your neighbors amazed.

500 Gram Repeaters

Sometimes referred to cakes, they are loaded into tubes. They are the biggest aerial fireworks with multiple shots that are available within the UK. They can be huge and loud based on the size of the mortars that are in each tunnel. The five hundred grams repeaters are easy for users to use since there is only one fuse for the light that is connected to all the dynamite tubes!

200 Gram Repeaters

Multi-shot aerial fireworks come already loaded into tubes. They weigh less than 500 grams repeaters, yet they are unbeatable with the best lighting shows available.

Mortar Kits

Parachute Fireworks

Parachute fireworks are single tubes that have one or more shells that are weighted or an army-man toy that is attached to a parachute , which allows them to glide to the ground. Parachutes that are equipped with lights can be daytime parachutes and some are nighttime parachutes. Parachutes that are daytime will feature smoke trails, while parachutes at night will feature an emitted strobe.

What are Ground-Based Fireworks?

Ground-based fireworks are also referred to by the name non-aerial fireworks. These are the kinds of ground-based fireworks that you can expect to find in your local fireworks store and in the online shop.

Fountains

Fountains are among the most popular non-aerial fireworks. They are available in a range of sizes and shapes. They don’t shoot into the air , and typically don’t sound like aerial fireworks. If the fuse is ignited and the fountains start to emit an explosion of sparks and may trigger whistling or crackling sounds. They last for an extended period of time and the various components can create various colours and effects.

Smoke balls

Smoke balls are colored by an igniter from the tip. When the flame is lit they emit the same color as the ball and is contained within.

Firecrackers

Firecrackers must be lit separately and are tiny in size however they emit an ebullient sound. They can also be found as blocks. Blocks are essentially packets of firecrackers that are bonded together.

Ground spinners

Ground spinners are devices that are lit and spin around on the ground and generate flashes. They also change colour and emit a good amount of light while swirling around.

Wheels

Wheels are typically made of a round-shaped card or a plastic disc. On the disc is various rockets, such as thrusters, that make the disc spin around, generating sparks or flames when ignited.

Novelty Fireworks

Sparklers

Sparklers are wires that have an pyrotechnic substance that can be buried in the ground, or held by hand. They are different in size and some are placed on top of cakes for birthdays. The Sparklers are considered to be the symbol of the Fourth of July.

Party poppers

The size of party poppers varies however they are most commonly used to celebrate events. If you tug on the strings of a party popper they will make a loud pop sound and release confetti in the air.

Lanterns

The lanterns are similar to small hot air balloons and when they are lit, the flame makes the lantern appear to float through the air. The majority times lanterns are utilized in celebrations all over the world.
