Oh, Iran…! It is possible to give at minimum 100 reasons to visit there. However, if you’re here, you’re likely thinking “Can I go to Iran?” or “Why to visit Iran?”. Here’s a brief and straightforward eight reasons to convince you to have an Iran experience right now , and the reasons why Iran is a must on any list of destinations!

11. Iranian amazing landscape

Iran is a place that has everything: forests, mountains ocean, caves, and desert. In winter you can ski around the surrounding areas of the capital city of Tehran. Additionally, it is possible to trek in the mountains, camp near waterfalls, or swimming on the beaches in the southern part of the country. This is the Persian Golf seaside, throughout the entire year. On Kish Island for example there are no restrictions from the government, and the Visa application isn’t required. Kish Island is a no-cost zone.

2. It is extremely secure to travel in Iran

It’s true! Just according to what you read. Contrary to what most people believe, Iran is one of the most secure places we’ve ever visited, and even more secure than the majority of European countries. The crime of pickpocketing and other similar crimes are not commonplace and families take their time in parks till late at night. Don’t believe the news you read in media and be aware of the differentiating Middle East countries (ouch! ).

3. Iran had the most powerful empire that the world has ever witnessed

The Persian Empire was founded in about 550 BC by Cyrus the great. Its glory days were when the territory expanded to a portion in Europe, Africa and Asia and the effects it left on the entire world are observed today. Cyrus for instance, is thought to be the first to establish the concept of the human rights movement when it said upon the international Cyrus Cylinder that everyone should be freeand that he would abolish slavery as the very first in human history.

Ruins and monuments from the Persian Empire are found throughout Iran. A trip to Pasargadae and Persepolis which were the Capitals in the Empire and both Unesco World Heritage Sites is a must!

4. It is located in a Brazilian city located in Iran

Okay, this is mainly of all for Brazilian enthusiasts however, it’s an interesting aspect of Iran. Abadan is one of the cities located in the southern part of the country, near its border with Iraq and the people who live there consider it to be part of Brazil!

The story began in the 70’s prior to it was the Islamic Revolution. The coach of the city’s football team was so impressed by Brazil’s performance during the 1970 Football World Cup that he made the decision to adopt Brazil’s uniform and game strategy. The players embraced this concept completely and today they claim they are from Brazil. They’ll even give you the scientific reasons for that explain why Abadan has been identified as Brazilian. As per their research “during this time of Pangea, Abadan was located in Brazil however, when the continents separated, Abadan ended up in Iran”.

It is commonplace to see kebab stores with the name “Rivaldo” and “Ronaldo” for example. Additionally, some establishments have two clocks over their stores with one showing Iranian time and the second that shows Brazilian time. The team’s supporters sing during games: “Abadan Berzilete”, meaning “Abadan is as Brazil”!

5. The Iranian hospitality

You’ll never experience anything like that Persian hospitality! Invitations to stay at the home of a family member, eat dinner with them go on a trip to picnicking, or whatever else is a common occurrence and at all times.

Iranians are not willing to spend money on anything, a bus ticket or taxi ride, food , or even for a touristic attraction. Don’t bother to argue or otherwise, it’s part of their customs. Visitors to Iran are considered sacred.

6 – Iranian food

Similar to Brazilians, Iranians love eating! Most often, you’ll discover (delicious) Kebab restaurants on the streets. However, it’s in family homes where you will be able to truly appreciate the traditional Iranian meals and experience of eating until exhausted. After dinner, take it is time to take a rest. Get up and have a bite of food! Fresh, healthy, and nutritious ingredients like nuts, fruits, and nuts are vital, bringing flavors to your food taste! Did we convince you yet to go to Iran?

7 Iranian architecture

The Persian architecture, as well as its literature and art were well-known prior to Christ. Following the Arab invasion around the year 630AD, they adopted aspects of the culture of the invaders. In reality, it was only after the war that they accepted Islam as their primary religion. The merging of cultures of both led to amazing structures, including mosques palaces, monuments, monuments and parks.

8 – The Visa is much simpler than you imagine.

There are clearly some rules that are different based on the passport you have. Certain countries, more than you could imagine, allow travelers to get their visas upon their arrival. Furthermore renewal is simpler.
